So, I haven't been very active on here lately. I visit every day to look at things but don't post anything. I figured I might as well do so to prove I'm not completely dead... Not that I have really posted any art for a long time. >_<

So, classes are almost done for the semester. Things are getting back on track after the big emotional hit we took. Still in my artistic rut... dang it. It's kinda unnerving to realize how long I haven't drawn or anything. Urgh. I just need to bite the bullet.

I have some vector work I need to do for some button ideas I have! I also need to pick up another series to get drawn up.

Looking forward to Turkey day. It's going to be a bit sadder, but family and friends will help. Gonna have a baking spree on weds! YAY

A great man has passed from this world. He had suffered a rare massive stroke and looked like he was getting better. He had been slated for surgery today. I'm not sure as of yet if that was the cause or if it was something else.

He was a wonderful person, kind and always giving of himself. He helped to raise myself and the other children in his group of friends. I loved him like he was a part of my family, because he was. Maybe this was the best for him, I don't pretend to know. All I know is that I will miss him. And I hope he's resting in peace.

Due to some personal issues that have happened within my home suddenly we will be experiencing financial difficulties for the forseeable future. My parents have asked that we not go into it in public areas. My sister and I have opened up commissions within our own DA's and our joint business DA

So, a friend of mine.... someone who is like an uncle to me, who helped raise me and my sister as well as some other kids in a whole group of friends... is in a coma due to a massive stroke. They're not sure if he'll make it out or anything. I would ask that you all send out a prayer or thought for him and his family and friends. He has always been a great man. I just hope the best for him happens. It's pretty hard right now but there's a good network of friends.


UPDATE!: So, the coma was induced by the hospital to help his body rest. The stroke was caused by cholesterol and clotting but he was already in the hospital so they were able to get to him immediately. He is still under but is able to move all his limbs and his eyes respond to stimuli.
